The right system for the job

Most water treatment problems cannot be properly solved with off-the-peg solutions. As a chemical, water can be changed in many ways to suit a variety of applications, from de-ionisation to create pure water for boiler feeds, glass washers or humdifiers, to chemical dosing for the prevention of Legionella from cooling towers or swimming pools.

Design of water systems

We begin by looking at the chemistry of the water at source and the desired quality of the water you need, including all legislation governing that water. We then work out what needs to be done in between to change the chemistry of the water and make it fit for purpose. Only then do we think about the equipment needed to achieve that chemical change.

The advantage of this approach is that you get the reassurance of having a water treatment system that not only works for your practical purposes, but also fulfils your legal obligations.

What information do you need from me?

We will come and survey the job before designing any installation, but it is always helpful if you can begin by providing some basic information, including:

  • Where does you water come from and what sort of quality is it?
  • How much water do you need and how quickly? (peak flow rate and daily volume)
  • What is the quality of the treated water you want coming out?
  • How much space do you have available?
