Privacy Policy.
This policy explains what personal information Invicta Water Treatment collects when you contact us or use this website, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. We keep what we collect to a minimum and never sell it.
Who we are
Invicta Water Treatment (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides private water supply, treatment and maintenance services across Surrey, Sussex and the wider South East. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.
Our registered address is 89 Castle Drive, Horley, Surrey RH6 9DD. You can reach us at sales@invictawatertreatment.co.uk or on 07970 154529.
The information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us, and a small amount of technical data needed to run the site.
Information you give us
When you send an enquiry through our contact form, by email or over the phone, we may collect:
- your name;
- your email address and telephone number;
- your town or postcode, and details about your property or water supply;
- anything else you choose to tell us in your message.
Information collected automatically
Our website is hosted by Netlify. Like most websites, its servers keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to deliver the site securely and reliably. We do not use these logs to identify you, and we do not run advertising or analytics tracking cookies.
How we use your information
We use the information you give us to:
- reply to your enquiry and answer your questions;
- arrange and carry out a site visit, quote or work you have asked for;
- keep records of the systems and supplies we look after for you;
- meet our legal, insurance and health-and-safety obligations.
Our lawful bases for this are your consent (when you submit an enquiry), the performance of a contract (when we carry out work for you), our legitimate interest in responding to and managing enquiries, and where relevant our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information or share it for marketing. We share it only where necessary to run our business:
- Netlify, which hosts this website and processes contact-form submissions on our behalf;
- Google, whose Maps and Fonts services are embedded on the site and may receive your IP address when a page loads;
- trusted suppliers, laboratories or engineers where this is needed to deliver work you have asked for;
- authorities or advisers where we are required to by law.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only as long as needed to respond and, if you become a customer, for as long as we care for your supply plus a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal and insurance requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or securely destroy it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information, or restrict how we use it;
- object to our use of your information, or withdraw consent you have given;
- ask us to transfer your information to another provider where this applies.
To exercise any of these, email us at sales@invictawatertreatment.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
Cookies
This website does not set tracking or advertising cookies. Any cookies used are limited to those strictly necessary for the site and its embedded Google Maps to function.
Keeping your information safe
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your data safe.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised, and the current version always applies.
How to contact us or complain
If you have any question about this policy or how we handle your information, contact us at sales@invictawatertreatment.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, though we would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
